Teams, Players, and Coaches Celebrated at 2019 Awards Banquet

(March 11, 2019) At Alberta Soccer's Annual Awards Banquet, several members of the Alberta Major Soccer League (AMSL) were celebrated for their successes on the field during the League's 27th season.

The awards feature outstanding players and coaches, as well as the league champions for their contributions and performance in 2018.

Men’s League Champions
- Edmonton Green & Gold
Women’s Coach of the Year
- Rick Haxby (Edmonton Victoria)
Men’s Coach of the Year
- Marcel Galaszkiewicz (Calgary Villians Elite)
Female MVP
- Laura Kautz (Edmonton Victoria)
Male MVP
- Paul Hamilton (Edmonton Scottish)

Looking forward

Preparations are underway for the AMSL's 28th season, which kicks off on May 1st, and Alberta Soccer looks forward to seeing more of the high-quality soccer the league promises. There are a few change in store for the 2019 season, which will be shared with the membership leading up to the season openers.
